Planting the raised beds

Curly kale, a couple of brocoli, gardener's delight tomatoes, a courgette plant, rainbow kale all planted into raised beds.  Rocket and other salad stuff close to bolting - pick it while you can!

French beans and maybe some peas in couple of weeks, if seeds germinate.

Photos are our team of waterers caring for plants in their new homes.

Kit on at KHCCSP Thursday morning 24th Feb

For our early Fairtrade fortnight celebration we are running a fairtrade stay & play group thursday 10 to 1.  Regular activities as usual, with a fairtrade flavour, including a 'kit on' for children and adults:

This Fairtrade Fortnight get loud and proud about Fairtrade by asking everyone to Show Off Your Label.  Show off your passion, your favourite product, your favourite clothes and send in your photos by email, facebook, blog or twitter (#ftlabel, #fairtrade), take part or run your own ‘Kit on’ event (see below).

This year FAB are highlighting the injustices that make Fairtrade a vital lifeline for cotton farmers in West Africa and India.  As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, Fairtrade Association Birmingham is asking you to get your kit on for fairtrade.  We are asking you to simply pile on your fairtrade clothes and forward your photos.  Why not go one step further and organise a ‘Kit on’ party?
