Starting again!
Next week (Wednesday 12:00) we start up our Garden Club after a little summer break.
First a quick review the last few month's achievements, since starting Wednesday Garden Club in May:
We've planted potatoes, salad stuff, curly Kale, beans, courgettes, we've weeded up and supported the 'Kings Heath in bloom' event, we've had stories supported by Highbury Children's Centre, Bug hunts with OPAL WM, Butterflies with Butterly conservation trust, forest trail with forest school practitioner Claire Chapman, run a Potato day, supported the stay & play group and eaten a lot of strawberries. And finally cut down the Sycamores blocking out the light, breaking our fence and, if allowed to grow much more, would have caused damage to the Community Centre foundations.
We have a full timetable for coming months, weather dependent. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
